The material is evenly distributed onto the surface of a moving steel belt via a feeding device. A thin coating forms on the belt, which is then uniformly cooled by cooling water on the back of the belt. Utilizing the excellent heat transfer properties of the steel belt, the molten material cools and solidifies into sheets. The solidified sheets are scraped off the belt by a scraper, and a crusher at the tail end of the equipment breaks the material into smaller pieces, which are then collected and directly fed into the packaging process.
